G1 Bilingual Teacher丨一年级双语教师

My name is Luna. I hold a bachelor's degree in English and a teaching qualification, and I am currently a G1 bilingual homeroom teacher. This is my 5th year in education and my 2nd year at FLIS. Having worked with children in both kindergarten and elementary school, I understand different age groups and enjoy growing alongside them.

For me, teaching English is more than passing on language skills — it's about opening a window to the world for children. In my classroom, students take the lead — they ask, try, and help one another. I hope they not only learn the language, but also become independent learners who explore beyond their textbooks. I believe that when children feel seen and accepted, they become more confident to express themselves and take risks — which resonates with what IB encourages: nurturing curious and thoughtful communicators.

我是Luna，现在是一年级的双语班主任，拥有英语专业学士学位和教师资格证。今年是我从教的第5年，也是在FLIS的第2年。我带过幼儿园和小学的孩子，了解不同年龄段的成长特点，也享受和他们一起成长。

对我而言，教英语不只是传授语言知识，更是帮孩子打开认识世界的一扇窗。在我的课堂上，孩子是主角——他们提问、尝试、互相帮助。我希望他们不仅学会英语，更能自主学习，愿意去探索课本之外的世界。我相信，当孩子感受到被接纳、被看见，就会更勇敢地表达和尝试，这也呼应了IB所鼓励的——成为乐于探究、敢于表达的人。
