这一经典童话开篇句式仿佛一份许诺，预告了我们将要收获的那个好故事：故事里往往有能够实现愿望的仙女教母、会说话的小动物、终成眷属的王子与公主，还有冒险、诅咒、魔法和快乐结局……今年万圣节，福州西湖国际学校便以「童话」为主题，让校园变身为一本施了魔法的童话书，师生纷纷化身奇幻角色，拥抱天马行空的想象力，运用我们从故事里学到的各种美好品质——勇敢、耐心、善良、热心助人——协作闯关，在游戏中力争上游！

The opening line of a classic fairy tale feel like a promise, foreshadowing the wonderful story we are about to experience: stories often feature fairy godmothers who grant wishes, talking animals, princes and princesses, as well as adventures, curses, magic, and happy endings… This Halloween, Fuzhou Lakeside International School adopted the theme of “Fairy Tales,” transforming the campus into an enchanted storybook. Teachers and students alike took on fantastical roles, embracing boundless imagination and drawing on the wonderful qualities we’ve learned from stories—bravery, patience, kindness, and a willingness to help others—to work together to overcome challenges and strive for excellence in the games!

一入校园，万圣节变装巡游、讨糖、游戏挑战等经典环节轮番登场。今年，FLIS万圣变装巡游久违地回到户外，在怡人秋日暖阳映照下，师生以班级为单位自信秀出了自己的装扮。颁奖环节中，一身小王子装扮的Daniel老师来到场上，剪下了长发公主的辫子。作为深受学子喜爱的魔术师，他特地围绕童话主题创作了这个节目：这段由长发公主的长发编成的辫子自带魔法，无论从哪里剪断都能迅速恢复如初。精彩表演引得现场欢呼连连！

As soon as students stepped onto campus, classic Halloween activities—such as the Halloween Parade, trick-or-treating, and game challenges—began one after another. This year, the FLIS Halloween Parade returned outdoors for the first time in a while. Bathed in the pleasant warmth of the autumn sun, students and teachers confidently showcased their costumes in class groups. During the awards ceremony, Mr. Daniel, dressed as the Little Prince, came onto the stage and cut off Rapunzel’s braid. As a magician deeply loved by the students, he had specially created this act around a fairy tale theme: the braid, woven from Rapunzel’s long hair, was enchanted—no matter where it was cut, it would instantly return to its original length. The spectacular performance drew continuous cheers from the audience!

搞怪南瓜脸、糖果神射手、图书馆寻宝、眼球接力赛、女巫帽套圈……下午金币大作战中，学子们时而流连于各班级主办的童话主题游戏，时而集结队伍参与户外团体游戏。除此之外，鬼屋游览也是万圣节不可或缺的一环！今年鬼屋由高中部学子设计布置：在这栋旨在帮助沉迷网络的青少年重返正途的「X行为矫正中心」里，流传着无数恐怖的午夜传说，过往亲历者讳莫如深，而你，就是下一个要踏入矫正中心的体验者……

Funny Pumpkin Face, Candy Toss, Library Scavenger Hunt, Eyeball Spoon Race, Witches Hat Ring Toss… During the afternoon’s “Gold Coin Challenge,” students spent time enjoying fairy-tale-themed games organized by their respective classes and forming teams to participate in outdoor group activities. In addition, a Haunted House tour is an indispensable part of Halloween! This year’s Haunted House was designed and decorated by high school students: set within the “X Behavioral Correction Center”—an institution aimed at helping internet-addicted teenagers get back on the right track—countless terrifying midnight stories circulate. Those who have experienced it in the past remain tight-lipped, and you… are the next person to step inside the correction center…

在童话故事里，经历过许多挑战、许多冒险后，主角大多会迎来「从此幸福地生活在一起」的快乐结局。希望这缤纷的一天过后，师生们也收获了足够回味许久的快乐时光！

In fairy tales, after facing many challenges and adventures, the main characters usually enjoy a happy ending where they “live happily ever after.” We hope that after this colorful day, both teachers and students have created happy memories that will last a long time!
