福州西湖国际学校于上周五举办了本年度才艺秀！今年，FLIS为表演者们设计了一座流光溢彩的剧院，在这一天的鎏金剧场里，鼓点如流星天降、舞步点燃心火、歌声掀起巨浪……表演者们因热爱相聚于舞台之上，以主人公姿态一一亮相。

Fuzhou Lakeside International School (FLIS) hosted this year's Talent Show last Friday! For this performance, FLIS designed a light-flowing theater for the various acts. On this gilded stage, drumbeats descended like shooting stars from the sky, dance steps ignited hearts on fire, and songs set off huge waves. Performers took to the stage with pure passion and appeared one by one with dazzling confidence.

随着一年又一年才艺秀的举办，我们惊喜地发现，许多演出者在舞台上一点点成长起来，变得更加大方自信，甚至独当一面。提到以串烧舞在校内赢得无数小粉丝的学姐学长，Viola, Stacy与Henry定有一席之地，今年三位舞将再次上台斗舞，编排用心，舞技明显精进，令人大呼过瘾；“明星小鼓手”Arthur多次以动感十足的打击乐表演迅速掀起活动热潮，这次的APT鼓点风暴由他一人hold住全场，赢得阵阵掌声；Rory同学曾以近景魔术惊艳众人，如今她携小弟再度登台，台风明显更加稳健；Tim去年与好朋友Sarah带来创意双人舞，当时二年级的他发挥创意，自己选曲、编舞，尽显才气，今年，他与Sarah, Majesty更是带观众领略了百老汇歌舞秀的魅力！

As the talent show continues year after year, we find that many performers have grown up on stage, becoming more confident and capable, and even taking charge of their own performances. When it comes to seniors who have won countless little fans on campus with their dance performances, Viola, Stacy, and Henry definitely deserve a mention. This year, the three dancers took to the stage once again to show off their skills. They carefully choreographed their dance, and their dance techniques have clearly improved, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained. Arthur, the “star drummer” in FLIS, has been on the campus stage many times with his dynamic percussion performances that quickly set off a boom in activity, and this time the APT drumming storm was held by him alone, which won a burst of applause. Rory, the student who has amazed crowds with her close-up magic tricks, appeared on the stage this year with her little brother and her stage presence was obviously next-leveled. Last year, when Tim was in second grade, he and his best friend Sarah performed a creative duo dance. Tim showed his talent then by choosing his own music and choreographing his own routine. This year, he teamed up with Sarah and Majesty to let the audience experience the charm of a classic Broadway song-and-dance show!

社团节目让更多孩子有了登台机会，也让他们能与同好者一起展示自己的兴趣爱好。流行舞社团的八位小姑娘倾情演绎《刀马旦》，见证古风旋律与现代舞蹈的碰撞融合；去年萌翻众人的ECE绘本社今年带来一出《动物诗歌》，大班小朋友化作诗人与小动物轮番上阵，他们用一首首惟妙惟肖的诗歌提醒我们万物有灵、地球不止是人类的家园，而人类应与自然和谐相处……

The club programs allowed more students to have the opportunity to appear on stage, and also allowed them to showcase their hobbies and interests with their peers. The eight girls from the Pop Dance Club performed “Female Warriors”, letting the audience experience a stunning fusion of ancient Chinese vibes meeting modern dance. The ECE Reading Club, which performed a cute program last year, performed a show called “Animal Poetry” this year. In this performance, the kindergarten students were poets and animals. This delightful showcase reminded us that there are spirits in everything, that the earth is home to all living things, not just humans beings, and that human beings should live in harmony with nature.
