秋冬是传递爱与感恩的季节。11月27日，感恩节前一天，福州西湖国际学校MYP学子来到福州市第一总医院肿瘤科，为该科室患者带来了一场温情满满的音乐艺术疗愈活动。

Autumn and winter are the seasons of love and gratitude, and on November 27, one day before Thanksgiving, the MYP students from Fuzhou Lakeside International School came to the Oncology Department of Fuzhou First General Hospital and held a warm and heartfelt music and art healing concert for the patients of the department.

为炒热现场氛围、拉近与观众的距离，音乐老师Yoyo以猜歌名游戏与小提琴独奏拉开活动序幕，赢得现场热烈掌声。此后，FLIS师生依次上台，展示了自己苦练许久的节目：钢琴独奏、吉他表演、金曲热唱……为了在这次活动中展现最佳状态，学子们提前一个月时间商讨节目、编排并练习；值得一提的是，有几位学子接触乐器的时间并不长，但这恰恰体现了音乐的魅力，而纯粹的热爱也是感染力的绝佳媒介。

Our music teacher, Ms. Yoyo, kicked off the event with a guess the song game and a violin solo, winning warm applause from the audience. After that, FLIS teachers and students went on stage one by one to show their long-practiced programs: piano solo, guitar performance, and classic song solo. In order to show the best state in this activity, students discussed the programs, arranged and practiced one month in advance; it is worth noting that several of the students have only just learned to play an instrument, but that shows the charm of music, and the sheer love of it is a great medium for bringing people together.

艺术教师Danielle则带领学子为患者们精心准备了绘画接龙游戏：每个人都可以在画板上画下手掌的轮廓，并发挥想象力，缀以图案装饰和鼓励话语，大家的手掌汇聚在一起，便成了一幅名为「掌中的温暖」的画作。

Danielle, the art teacher, led the students to prepare an art inspired solitaire game for the patients: everyone could draw the outline of their palms on the drawing board and use their imagination to decorate it with patterns and words of encouragement, and the palms of all the patients were brought together to form a painting called “Warmth in the Palm”.

最后，Yoyo老师带领五名学子，以五把吉他+空灵鼓的配置，为患者们演奏一曲《隐形的翅膀》。空灵悠远的鼓声与温馨的吉他和弦搭配完美，不仅舒缓了听众的神经、带来内心安宁，歌曲背后的涵义也让大家感受到了困境中不灭的爱与希望。

Finally, Ms. Yoyo led five students to play the song “Invisible Wings” for the patients with five guitars and one Kongling drum. The drum and warm guitar chords matched perfectly, not only soothing the listeners' nerves and bringing inner peace, but also letting everyone feel the undying love and hope in the midst of adversity.

音乐艺术疗愈活动结束后，MYP学子在爱加倍社工的引导下，进入病房为患者们分发了真挚的祝福卡片。愿音乐与艺术能为患者及家属们带来一丝慰藉，也令众人感受到社群支持的力量，从而增强抗击病魔的信心！未来，FLIS也将继续鼓励学子多多参与社会服务项目，让学子意识到，人人都可以对自己的生活和周围的世界产生积极影响，这也是FLIS MYP的教育目标之一。

After the music and art healing concert, MYP students, guided by Agape staff, went into the wards to distribute heartfelt cards to patients. May music and art bring comfort to the patients and their families, as well as the power of community support to strengthen their confidence in fighting the disease! In the future, FLIS will continue to encourage its students to participate in social service projects, so that they will realize that everyone can have a positive impact on their own lives and the world around them, which is also one of the educational goals of FLIS MYP!
