Hello, my name is Sam. I was born and raised in the UK, but my wanderlust drew me to seek adventure in far-off lands, such as here in China. I am an MYP Literature teacher here at FLIS. I have an undergraduate degree in English Literature and a master's degree in International Relations. My interests are numerous and include science, politics, philosophy as well as films and technology. I especially enjoy reading, as through books we can vicariously experience things never ordinarily possible and learn from the wisdom of people from a vast range of times, places, and situations. Sharing the magic of books and literature is why I love teaching my subject. 

大家好，我叫Sam。我在英国出生长大，但漂泊不定的本性吸引我去遥远的国度探险，比如中国。我在FLIS担任英语语言文学教师。我拥有英语文学的本科学位和国际关系硕士学位。我的兴趣广泛，包括科学、政治、哲学以及电影和科技。我尤其喜欢阅读，因为通过书籍，我们可以亲身经历日常生活中不可能发生的事情，并从不同时代、地域和情形下的人们那里汲取智慧。分享书籍和文学的魅力是我热爱教学的原因。
