福州西湖国际学校将于9月18-20日举办开放日，我们诚挚邀请各位家长前来参加！活动期间，您可以坐在学生的教室中，体验FLIS的教学项目与教学方式，感受在校学生是如何在校园中生活的。欢迎加入:)

Welcome one and all! Come and visit us! Come and learn about our school and the programs of study we offer. Come and sit in on a class. Come and experience school the way your children do. On September 18-20, Fuzhou Lakeside International School will host an Open House and we invite all parents to attend.

许多家长希望亲临学校，观摩校园及教学课堂，更多地了解学校：开放日便是基于这一目的而设立。家长们通过开放日的精心安排，能身临其境地体验到FLIS对于学生来说是一所怎样的学校，他们在此是如何学习各种科目、教师又是如何授课的；同样，这也有助于家长多多参与学校活动，是与教师、学校管理者及其他学生家长见面并互动的好机会。
An Open House is an event opens to parents who wish to come and have a look around and learn about the school. Parents are welcome to come to school that day and sit in on a class so that they can see what their children are learning. It is a good opportunity to truly experience what school is like for students, to learn about the subject being taught, and to see how your children’s teacher teaches in the classroom. It is also a good opportunity to get more involved in the school and to meet and talk with the teachers, school administrators, and other students’ parents.

美国许多学校都会选择在新学年之初举办开放日。这一活动是对学校文化一个极好的促进和宣传，同时也有效增进了学生、家长、教师及管理者之间的交流。一所学校就是一个大家庭，我们衷心期待能在9月18-20日，FLIS大家庭的开放日中见到您的身影！

In America, many schools have an Open House at the beginning of the school year. It is a great way to encourage a sense of community and school spirit for students and parents alike. It also helps to facilitate communication between students, parents, teachers, and administrators. A school is a family, so be sure to come down to FLIS on September 18-20, and join your family for our Open House!
