FLIS Spring Fair
作为福州地区唯一一所国际学校、也是一所年轻而充满活力的学校，福州西湖国际学校创造了许许多多的“第一次”。上周日（3月18日），我们举办了首届春季嘉年华，并期待以后这一活动也会加入FLIS的伟大传统之中。
As the only International school at Fuzhou area, a young but dynamic school, FLIS has marked many “firsts” in its history. This time, on 18th of March, we held our first Spring Fair, which we expect to be a great tradition later on.
FLIS很高兴向大家宣布，本次活动大获成功！嘉年华实现了我们之前设定的所有目标，具体到微观层面，各位来宾脸上灿烂的笑容亦是极好证明：这确实是一项充满欢愉、令人满意的盛会！
FLIS is pleased to announce that the activity was a big success! We achieved the goal we set: to promote a strong campus culture by interaction amongst students, parents and staff, in a fun atmosphere. More concretely, we witnessed many, many happy faces; it certainly was a day full of joy and satisfaction!
我们为游客设计了四条游玩路线，每条线路均布置了许多星际主题游戏，并尽量让所有年龄段的孩子都能找到适龄游戏，参与其中。对那些更喜爱安静环境的孩子们，星空灯、星空球绘画创作也是不错的选择。许多孩子与父母在场地中央的泡泡秀中找到不少乐子，我们还邀请了小丑为大伙儿制作气球——他的人气可高了~
There were 4 recommended tour routes designed for visitors. At every route we set many games, with the theme of interstellar space, and tried to make it appropriate for all-levels of kids so everyone would have fun. For those who preferred a quiet environment, the star stump painting was a good choice. In the center of the field, parents and kids greatly enjoyed the bubble show! We also invited a clown to make balloon for visitors – literally a hot spot!
完成游玩线路的游客便有机会获得一份小礼物。看见吃着棉花糖的孩子了吗？“星云棉花糖”也是热门景点之一呢！学校大厨还为大家准备了可口的自助餐，希望你们喜欢！此外，我们也希望没人错过最后的抽奖，奖品实在很诱人哦 :)
At the Spring Fair, anyone who finished the tour route would have chance to get a gift. Did you see the kids with cotton candy? It was a popular one! School chefs prepared many delicious foods for visitors, and we certainly hoped everyone enjoyed it! And we also hope that nobody missed the exciting Lottery Prize Draw, since the prizes were really attractive.In the end, we’d like to express our gratitude for everyone who took part in the activity to make it happen – no matter whether you’re an educator, a father/mother, a staff, or a happy child…on this day we were all memories-makers! Thank you for creating those unforgettable memories with us. We’ll mark this day for sharing love and support and happiness forever. See you next year!
