At the same time, the number of book share cards received by the school library that month was also quite impressive. When screening the "Reading Stars", we also read from the share cards the diverse reading interests of the students: biographies, science fiction, foreign novels, contemporary novels, children's picture books… Students not only generously shared their favorite books, depicted the target readers of the recommended books, but also shared the gains and regrets of the reading process. As a result, we not only found a variety of book recommendations, but also saw many readers' different interpretations of the same book, which was very beneficial.

The school library hopes to progressively develop students' reading, thinking and writing skills through the March Madness Readathon. Relatively speaking, reading at the primary school level is mainly focusing on "quantity", i.e., exposure to a wide range of topics and genres through extensive reading, cultivating an interest in books and gradually developing their own reading tastes; while reading at the secondary school level is mainly "quality". Students need to master the ability to assess the value of books. For example, whether the content is suitable for them and whether they can gain new knowledge/insight from the book. After that, it's time to transit from input to output and quantity to quality. Although the contest is over, the taste of reading may still linger in the readers' mind. Whenever you want to relive the joy of reading, please remember that the school library is always waiting for you.
