2020年春，病毒肆虐，在全国人民时刻关注疫情发展的同时，一艘停留在日本的邮轮也令大家揪心不已。这艘名为“钻石公主”号的邮轮于1月20日从横滨出发，原计划展开为期16天的东南亚春季之旅航程，未料出现确诊病患，自2月4日起全员滞留在横滨港大黑埠头。两周后隔离期满，该如何将我国游客送至东京机场成了难题……危机时刻，经营旅游运输企业的旅日闽籍侨胞刘丹蕻（原田优美）女士挺身而出，带着车队一路护送同胞至机场。在那个寒冷的夜晚，由两条红围巾缝制的横幅“走，咱们回家！”温暖了无数同胞的心……
In the spring of 2020, the virus was rampant, and while the nation was concerned about the development of the epidemic, a cruise ship in Japan was also a cause for concern. The Diamond Princess is a luxury cruise ship that is registered in the United Kingdom and operated by Princess Cruises based in the United States and Bermuda. In February 2020, during a cruise of the Western Pacific, cases of COVID-19 were detected onboard. The vessel was quarantined off Japan for two weeks, after which all remaining passengers and crew were evacuated. When the quarantine period ended, how to send our Chinese tourists to Tokyo airport became a problem. At the moment of crisis, Ms. Liu Danhong, a Fujian expatriate who runs a tourism and transportation business, stepped forward and escorted her compatriots with a convoy all the way to the airport. On that cold night, the banner sewn by two red scarves, which read “Let's go home!”, warmed the hearts of countless compatriots.
上周三，刘丹蕻女士来到福州西湖国际学校，与FLIS学子亲切交流了这段传奇经历，以及多年在日创业、打拼的种种。大学毕业后，刘女士只身一人来到日本，找工作屡屡碰壁，她干脆萌生了创业的念头：“既然谁都不愿给我工作，我就想，那干脆让你们来为我打工吧！”刘女士亲切幽默的自述让学子听得入了迷，提问也一个接一个，在此，也感谢FLIS学子Cindy同学精彩的翻译！有些孩子好奇刘女士的中学时代是如何度过的，也有同学想知道她东渡日本的初衷，还有学生想了解过去现在福建人在日本发展的情况。当然，对“钻石公主”号这段经历，学子也想了解更多细节：在那样的情形下，是什么促使员工跟她站在一起，承担护送中国籍游客至机场的重任呢？
Last Wednesday, Ms. Liu Danhong came to Fuzhou Lakeside International School and shared her legendary experience with FLIS students, as well as her years of entrepreneurship and struggle in Japan. After graduating from college, Ms. Liu came to Japan alone, but she had to face many obstacles in finding a job, so she had the idea of starting her own business: "Since no company wants to hire me, I thought, ‘Why don't I just start my own company and hire myself?’” Ms. Liu's friendly and humorous self-talk fascinated the students, and they asked questions one after another, and FLIS student Cindy's translation made the communication smoother. Some students were curious about how Ms. Liu spent her high school years; some students wanted to know the reason why she went to Japan; and others wanted to know about the past and present development of Fujianese in Japan. Of course, the students also wanted to know more details about the Diamond Princess experience: what motivated the staff to stand with her and take on the important task of escorting Chinese tourists to the airport under those circumstances?
刘女士坦言并未细想确切原因，可能是因为自己过去常常帮助别人——“3·11”地震、台风“飞燕”重创日本之际，她都曾组织员工、志愿者帮助灾民、支持救援——用真心对待他人，也能收获真心；危难时刻更显两国邻邦情谊。考虑到许多FLIS学子未来将前往国外求学，刘女士也留下了真诚的建议：“我想告诉大家，你们在国外不是孤单的，也可以找到组织，遇到困难要及时求援。”
Ms. Liu said she does not know the exact reason, but perhaps because she had often helped others in the past. For example, when the March 11 earthquake and Typhoon Feiyan hit Japan hard, she organized staff and volunteers to help the people who lost their homes and support the relief efforts. She says that if we have a heart to care for others, we will also reap the benefits of our heart. In times of crisis, the friendship between the two countries is even more obvious. Since many FLIS students will go abroad to study in the future, Ms. Liu also gave some advice: "I want to tell you that you are not alone abroad; you can find organizations and seek help when you encounter difficulties."
分享会将近结尾，看着一双双渴望的眼睛，满堂青春面孔，刘女士动情地说起了自己的女儿。从事旅游业的她与常人假期往往错开，繁忙的工作令她难以常伴女儿左右，因此，幼年时女儿常常不理解母亲的工作。但随着年龄渐长，念国际学校的女儿遇到了良师指点，找到人生目标，也为母亲的经历感到十分骄傲……刘女士以此激励、祝福在座学子，好好学习，找到人生目标，大家也会有美好的未来！
Near the end of the sharing session, looking at a pair of eager eyes and a room full of young faces, Ms. Liu spoke movingly about her daughter. As a person who works in the tourism industry, she tends to be very busy during holidays, and it is difficult for her to be around her daughter when she is busy working. As a result, the daughter often did not understand her mother's work when she was young. But as she grew older, her daughter, who went to an international school, met a good teacher to guide her and help her find her goal in life, and then she felt very proud of her mother's experience and success. Ms. Liu used this example to inspire and encourage the students here to study hard and find their goal in life so that they will all have a bright future!
