时光飞逝，又一个学期走到了尽头。在2018-2019学年的最后一天，福州西湖国际学校举行了两场盛大的毕业典礼！
Another semester has come to an end! Time sure has flown quickly!  On the last day of the 2018-2019 school year, Fuzhou Lakeside International School held two grand graduation ceremonies.



上午，中学毕业生们齐齐穿着毕业服来到场馆内。在这个特别的日子里，FLIS全体中学生及毕业生家长也来到了现场，为毕业生们送上祝福。副校长Ashim女士首先上台致欢迎词，她在讲话中肯定了毕业生们所取得的成就，也对大家的未来献上诚挚的祝愿。Ashim女士同样为学生们颁发了表彰证书。在这一里程碑式的时刻，几位教师、学生代表纷纷上台致辞；此外，Ashley同学还为大家带来了精彩的古筝独奏，而今年的毕业生代表之一Kaiden同学也与母亲高歌一曲。最后，毕业生们从总校长邱吉源先生手中接过毕业证书，典礼结束，大家纷纷拍照留念，留住中学时代这美好一刻。
In the morning, the secondary graduates came to the well-decorated gym in their graduation attire. On this special day, all the FLIS secondary students and the parents of the graduates also came to give their blessings to the graduates. Ms. Ashim Pheirim, the Vice Principal, took the stage to deliver the welcome speech, in which she acknowledged the achievements of the graduates as well as the efforts of parents and teachers. Ms. Ashim also presented the students with certificates of recognition, and honored students who were named to the Honor roll for high academic standards. At this milestone event, a few teachers and student representatives gave speeches as well. Additionally, we had an instrumental from Ashley Wu on the zither, a vocal solo from Mr. Calvin Chen, and a vocal duet from Kaiden Myers, this year's valedictorian, and his mother, Tina Myers-Abur. At last, the graduates received their diplomas from the FLIS Principal, Mr. Jerry Qiu. After the ceremony, many photos were taken to memorialize this meaningful event  of their secondary school career.



幼儿园大班毕业仪式也在同一天举行。三年时光转瞬即逝，恍惚间，萌宝仿佛还是昨日初初入园的小可爱，师生都感慨不已。园长Jeanne女士率先登台致欢迎词，之后，大班教师一一发表致辞。回顾过去时光，欢欣有之，感人有之，有挫折亦有进步，有气馁就有成长……典礼中，大班毕业生也为大家带来两支精心编排的舞蹈，赢得掌声阵阵！接着Jeanne女士再度上台为孩子们颁发了毕业证书。在一曲动人的《感谢歌》中，FLIS 2019大班毕业典礼落下了帷幕。
The graduation ceremony for kindergarten students was held on the same day. It is so amazing how time slips away... it seems like just yesterday that they entered the campus for the very first time! Ms. Jeanne, the Director of ECE department, gave a speech of welcome. Looking back on the past, joyful, touching moments will not be forgotten; there were definitely setbacks and frustrations, but there was also progress. At the ceremony, the graduates of the kindergarten also brought us two choreographed dances, winning big applause. Then Ms. Jeanne went on stage again to present the children with diplomas. In a touching song called "Thank You Song", the graduation ceremony of FLIS 2019 class came to an end.



这想必是各位人生中里程碑式的一刻，稍事休息，之后，孩子们又将朝崭新的未来迈进——但这不是告别！在FLIS度过的岁月将永远伴随着你们，彷徨时，想想在此度过的暖心时光，请记得你们永远是FLIS大家庭的一员。放心追逐你们的梦想吧！祝大家未来一切顺利！
Graduation is definitely a milestone in the lives of students. After a brief break, our students will move on to a brand-new future and into a brand-new phase, but this is not goodbye! The time you have spent at FLIS will always be with you. When you feel lost, think of the warm times you have experienced here. Please remember that you are always a member of the FLIS family.  Chase your dreams with courage! We wish all of you the very best that life has to offer you!
