十月下旬，气温骤降，阳光也不似先前慷慨，时隐时现，校园里出现了骷髅、南瓜、蜘蛛装饰，一派鬼气森森……然而，学生们却似乎比往日更加活跃兴奋，这当然是因为——每年最受大家喜爱的万圣节，就在10月31日！
The temperature suddenly dropped in late October. Meanwhile the sun was not as bright as before, and skeleton, pumpkin, and spider decorations appeared all over campus, which created a spooky atmosphere...... However, the students seemed to be more active and excited than usual, because of course, everyone knew that their favorite holiday – Halloween – would be celebrated on October 31!



福州西湖国际学校就在这一天举行了盛大的派对，庆祝一年一度的万圣节。一大早，校园里满是形形色色的奇异人士。这一天，每位学生都精心挑选了自己的万圣节装扮。“不给糖就捣蛋”环节与万圣节变装游行给了大家充分展示的舞台，见识过了那么多创意及想象兼具的鬼马装扮，最佳服装的归属，大家心中都有数了吗？别忘记我们还有最佳南瓜灯的评比哦！
Fuzhou Lakeside International School held a big party on this day to celebrate the annual Halloween holiday. Early in the morning, the campus was full of all kinds of “strange people”. To celebrate this day, each student had chosen his or her own Halloween costume. "Trick or treating" and the Halloween costume parade gave everyone a chance to fully show themselves. Which did you think was the best after seeing so many creative and imaginative costumes? Don't forget that we also have a competition for the best jack-o-lantern!



FLIS在今年的万圣节活动中也结合了深受孩子们喜爱的“哈利波特”元素。墙上早早挂出了四个学院的旗帜，大厅摆出了巫师人偶。学生们还通过寻宝游戏赢取“哈利波特”相关神秘礼物。与往年相比，今年我们增加了钓魔鬼、穿越蜘蛛网、南瓜运输等智趣与难度相结合的游戏，希望今天大家都有顺利通关，找到所有礼物线索！游戏之余，也别忘了游览小学部师生精心布置的鬼屋，并在体育馆聆听咱们一日限定的“骷髅乐队”高歌一曲！
FLIS incorporated "Harry Potter" elements into this year's Halloween celebrations, which were popular among children. Four prominent “house flags” have been hanging on the walls, and the lobby has been decorated with wizard figures. Students also won mysterious gifts related to Harry Potter through a treasure hunt. Compared with previous years, this year we have added several new games like Devil Fishing, Crossing the Spider Web, and Pumpkin Transportation. We hope that everyone has found all the gift clues by now! And don't forget to visit the carefully-decorated haunted house (decorated by primary teachers and students), and listen to our "Skull Band" sing a song!

Secondary students continued to solve a murder mystery this year! One day in late autumn, Mr. Sam was murdered! Who was the killer? Students came to the evidence showroom to check the evidence and compare fingerprints, and then through talking with suspect(s), they managed to make their deduction and determine who the murderer is. After the brainstorming session, the truth was clear...
