Math Teacher丨数学教师

Hello, my name is Yuan Zou, and I will be teaching MYP math classes this year. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and earned my master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. After graduation, I spent five years teaching in Washington, DC before returning to China last year. Born and raised in Fuzhou, I am deeply honored to work at FLIS, where I can give back to my city and get to know my communities better.

I am passionate about student-centered learning and believe strongly in the power of a growth mindset. As an educator, I am committed to creating a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, singing, following sports, and exploring the city on my bike. I look forward to inspiring and supporting the next generation of learners at FLIS.

大家好，我叫邹缘，今年将担任MYP数学课程的教师。我本科毕业于宾夕法尼亚大学，硕士毕业于约翰・霍普金斯大学。毕业后，我在华盛顿特区教了五年书，去年回到了中国。我在福州出生长大，非常荣幸能在福州西湖国际学校工作，在这里我可以回馈自己的城市，更深入地了解身边的社区。

我热衷于以学生为中心的教学方式，并坚信成长型思维的力量。作为一名教育工作者，我致力于营造一个支持性的课堂环境，让每个学生都能茁壮成长，充分发挥自己的潜力。

工作之余，我喜欢阅读、唱歌、关注体育赛事，还喜欢骑自行车探索这座城市。我期待在福州西湖国际学校激励并支持下一代学习者。
