近来，幼儿园小朋友们学习了“地球”主题。说起来，要拓展孩子们对动物、植物、环境的认识，还有哪里比CAASEL中心更合适呢？于是本周，幼儿园学子们便齐齐来到实践基地，与大自然亲密接触~

Recently, ECE students studied the theme of "Earth.” What better way to expand their understanding of animals, plants, and the environment than through the CAASEL center? So ECE students went to the facility to have some contact with nature.

 

小朋友们首先同Hank与Teddy老师学习种植。两位老师带他们认识了种在地下与生长在地面上的作物，之后，孩子们亲手往小杯中填满泥土，再播撒种子，小心翼翼地将自己的作品交给老师。之后会结出什么样的果实呢？每个孩子同时也在心中埋下了心愿：种子要快快发芽呀……

First, Mr Hank and Mr Teddy taught the children how to plant. Afterward, the teachers introduced them to underground and above-ground crops. The students filled their small cups with soil, then planted seeds and carefully presented their work to the teacher. What kind of fruit will it produce? Each child also planted in their heart a little wish, “please please grow quickly...”

 

结束了种植课程，每个班级也在菜圃中挑选了一块园地。未来，他们会在自己选择的园地上学习农耕哦。之后是小朋友们期盼已久的动物喂养环节！从踏入CAASEL大道的那一刻起，孩子们就盼着能与小动物们多多亲近。此刻，他们在老师的指导下选取了动物平日里爱吃的食物，隔着一段距离递给山羊、小鸡小鸭……看动物们吃得津津有味，萌娃们也不禁好奇：这种草居然这么好吃的吗？！

At the end of the planting lesson, each class picked a plot of the garden to use in the future.  Then came the long awaited animal feeding session! From the moment they set foot into the CAASEL Center, everyone looked forward to being closer to the farm animals. Under the guidance of their teacher, students chose the correct food for each animal; goats, chickens, and ducks. Watching the animals eat, students could not help but wonder, “Is grass really so delicious?”

 

通过此次户外活动，孩子们不仅亲自动手播撒了种子，了解了不少关于动物、植物的知识，还与园区的小动物们成为了朋友！这一切想必都生动地加深了他们对世界的认知。上午的快乐时光转瞬即逝，期待你们的下一次CAASEL之行哦~

Through this outdoor activity, the children not only learned a lot about animals and plants, but also befriended some of the small animals at CAASEL! All this has deepened their knowledge of the world. Looking forward to the next trip to CAASEL!
