随着气温逐渐升高，春季向我们展示了更加多变的一面：时而晴空万里，时而风雨交织。尽管天气令人迷惑，大伙儿出行热情未减，距五一黄金周尚有段时间，各地景区纷纷传来订票艰难、酒店床位早已抢售一空的消息，足见时下人人对外出的渴望。若不愿在景区体验人挤人的尴尬，适时出门走走、感受身边的风景，也是一种不错的选择。

With the gradual rise in temperature, spring shows us a more variable side: sometimes sunny, sometimes rain and wind intertwined. Despite the bewildering weather, people’s enthusiasm for travel has not diminished, and there is still some time before the Labor Day Golden Week, the news that the scenic spots around the country have been difficult to book tickets and hotel beds have been sold out, which shows that everyone is eager to go out nowadays. If you don't want to experience the embarrassment of crowded people in the scenic spots, it's a good choice to go out and walk and feel the scenery around you in due course.

定向运动作为一种源自北欧、风靡多年的竞赛项目，要求参赛者依靠地图、指南针等导航技巧，在森林、郊外或城市公园中徒步竞赛。这种十分健康、既考验智力也考验体力的运动进入城市后，通常以“寻宝”游戏的形式在公园中展开，4月21日，抓住春天的尾巴，福州西湖国际学校的学子借地理之便，在堪称“后花园”的两座公园内举办了年度运动会！

Orienteering, a popular sport of Scandinavian origin, requires participants to rely on maps, compasses and other navigation skills to compete on foot in forests, suburbs or city parks. This very healthy sport, which tests both intelligence and physical strength, has entered the city, usually in the form of a "scavenger hunt" game in the park. On April 21st, the students of Fuzhou Lakeside International School took advantage of their geography to hold their annual field day in two parks that are known as "backyards"!

定向挑战赛中，学子或要解决一些与沿路风景相关的谜题，或根据局部细节寻找景点、辨认动植物，这不仅要求大家积极调动感官，留心身边的草木瓦石，也要求大家灵活调配时间，具有良好的方向感，以免流连忘返。最后，我们根据积分及完赛时长评定奖项。步数爆表的一天，希望每位学子、家长也收获了沿途的风景、团队合作的默契、与完成比赛的成就感！

In the Orienteering Challenge, students had to solve some puzzles related to the scenery along the road, or find attractions and identify plants and animals based on local details, which required not only active sensory mobilization, paying attention to the grass, trees and rocks around them, but also flexible deployment of time and a good sense of direction to avoid lingering and forgetting. At the end, we evaluated the prizes according to the points and the time of the finish. We hope that every student and parent also enjoyed the scenery along the way, the tacit understanding of teamwork, and the sense of accomplishment of completing the race!

镜头带回学校，FLIS足球场上同样热火朝天，传统田径项目与各式各样的趣味体育项目在此拉开序幕。汗水与热情铸就了学子勇往直前的意志，对胜利的渴望又激发了前所未有的潜力。下午，超级解压的彩蛋环节再度登场：SOAK THE PRINCIPAL!!!“狠狠”拿起你的吸水笑脸海绵，“温柔”砸向学部校长——一年一度只此一回，大家都把握住机会了吗？

Back at the school, the FLIS soccer field was also in full swing, with traditional track and field events and a variety of fun sports events kicking off the season. Sweat and enthusiasm forged the will of the students to go forward, and the desire to win inspired unprecedented potential. In the afternoon, the super stress relief surprise activity appeared again: SOAK THE PRINCIPAL!!! Pick up your water-absorbing smiley sponge and "gently" smash it against the principals of each department – the chance comes only once a year.
